I've never used nose scissors but I like the idea of not putting scissors in my nose to trim. This hair clipper works well. I slowly press the levers and feel a pleasant clip. Same when I pull the levers quickly and aggressively. I plucked a hair out of my nose with a quick jab for not holding the trimmer as steady as I needed to. The trimmer is small enough to get quite deep into my nose. The trimmer looks solid and well made, I think it will last quite a while. Time will tell how sharp the blade remains, but nose hair is hardly a durable material. Looking at the photos, I saw slight V-shaped slits for gathering hair on the nose for trimming. I've seen photos of similar products that only had straight slots. I figured v-shaped slots would work better. That's why I chose this nose hair trimmer over other similar and cheaper competitors. I have no idea if V-Slots work better than straight slots, maybe I'm just overthinking it.
