I wouldn't call it a "complete manual" in the truest sense of the word. It's 58 pages, half of which are projects and the rest a mix of sewing terms, vocabulary, practice sheets and then (which is what I've been looking for the most) actual instructions. I'm a total newbie and that wasn't enough for me to really get started. I would like more tutorials on different stitches and techniques and more explanations of why. However, sewing is like learning by doing anyway, so I'm just going to get into it with another book I bought. The projects listed look fun so I guessed them.
