It folds up so neatly and compactly. When folded, it measures approximately 4 x 2 inches. When you travel a lot, space and weight matter. I tested it by inflating and putting it on. It only took a few breaths. It empties completely and easily fits back into the included travel bag. I needed something small when deflated but usable when inflated. It was about the same size as any other neck pillow. I need the inflatable ability so it seals well and I can adjust the firmness of the pillow. There is also a small button that keeps the pillow in place while you sleep. I have many different neck pillows, including non-inflatable ones. Without a click, my pillow shifts or falls into an odd position. I will be testing this over the next few months as I travel weekly. Fingers crossed. Not updating my rating means I like it.
