The first thing that struck me when I took the antenna out of the box was that there were no holes in the base to screw it into the roof. The instructions state that the magnet at the base of the antenna will keep it on the roof of the RV. The problem here is that the roofs of motorhomes, with the exception of "campers", are made entirely of GRP or aluminum. Nothing that could attract a magnet. I have owned vans since 1969 and have never seen one with a magnetic roof. If Revain continues to sell this type of poorly made/engineered jack it will surely tarnish their reputation.
