Review on VehiCode Light Conversion Headlight Bulbs by Jason Flores

Now I'm not sure about these LED bulbs.

Pros: These LED low beam bulbs were very easy to install in my smart car. They're basically the same dimensions as the old halogen bulbs, so it's pretty much plug and play. I know because I've tried installing some other huge bottom LED lights where the latch wouldn't move to lock the light in place and also the dust cap wouldn't fit the new light. This particular LED had no such problems. That's what prompted me to try them - they were also advertised as being very bright (high lumens) with a daylight temperature of 6000 Kelvin. Cons: I don't think they are as bright as my original halogen bulbs and the light rays seem uneven - I see a few black holes. I'm also not sure if they have as many lumens (brightness levels) as advertised - if they do, they should be a lot brighter. Also, do you think that maybe they're only for fog lights and not low beam? What most people don't realize is that white light cuts through the darkness and reveals more detail than the warm yellow lights of yesteryear. Have you ever noticed that stores NEVER have yellow/warm lighting? They always have bright white light so you can see their products clearly. Yellow warm lights are for a romantic dinner, not for night driving! Auto manufacturers still make this mistake because my other car, Nissan, had amber headlights and I couldn't see much at night and kept checking to make sure my headlights were actually on. Hopefully these new LED lights stay cool enough not to wear out as they seem to have a special cooling design to prevent wear (LED lights don't burn out but they can wear out or the current can burn out due to overheating) . Also, the bulbs came in a tiny, cheap plastic zip-lock bag rather than the fancy box shown on the product page.
