I bought this hand blender after my other one died (after a few years of use). When the box arrived, I immediately took everything out and used it. I made vegetable soup, made a smoothie for breakfast the next morning and took the final test. HUMMUS! The blender came with a great little recipe book. I used the hummus recipe from this book. I don't like lumpy hummus, and I don't like to take it out in a large blender or food processor for small batches. After mixing all the ingredients, I'm happy to report that the hummus passed the test! It was so soft, tender and delicious! The blender also did a great job with my soup! This hand blender is great! Here are some of the things I really like about this hand blender. Speed controller: It's that convenient! The dial is illuminated and makes it easier to work while mixing. Accessories: whisk, milk frother, immersion blender. They are easy to attach and remove. Mixing Bowl: Has rubber feet on the bottom to prevent slipping. Fabulous! A whisk and foaming agent included with the hand blender attachment is a really big bonus. I know that I will use this hand blender for different things when cooking. Because of its size, it is very helpful to use a blender for quick grinding. I recommend this hand blender for every kitchen!
