I bought a size 20 raspberry tartan for my 12 year old adoptive pit bull Cocoa, she weighs about 47 pounds, she is broad chested although not as muscular as most pitties (she'll have some potato body when she gets older lol). Multiple Velcro areas are great because they make the fit more customizable. This warm coat is good for winter and looks great. I've had it for over a year now and have washed it several times (it's not her main coat) and it's holding up beautifully. The velcro is nice and strong so the coat holds up well. Looks just as good now as when you bought it, I can only recommend it
