A lot of work, but it works!
I put them to the ultimate test! Thick hair on legs and arms that has never been shaved. It took several blades for each leg, and some areas were difficult to fully clean, but it pulled off most of the hair, leaving a smooth surface. They can be good for a quick touch-up but are not recommended for thick hair that has never been shaved. It takes a lot of time and tires your hands and arms.
