I bought these headphones to practice with. At first my ears started to hurt after 2 hours of wearing, but now after wearing them constantly I can wear them longer and it doesn't bother me anymore. The volume control isn't that good, it doesn't increase. or turn down the volume on your device (my iPhone), just adjust the volume on the headphones yourself. For example, moving the volume slider down only mutes the headphones but not the volume on my phone. Finally, the microphone is compatible with phones but not laptops or PCs. You either have to buy an adapter or get a special voice headset. I decided to keep them as I can wear them to listen to music when I'm not at work and don't have to worry about an external microphone. I will post an update when I have the adapter
