Review on Lightshare Lighted Palm Tree Large by Vickie Kraus

I thought it would be great to have a palm tree outside while it was snowing. First we liked the way it looked. However, after a week we found that it wasn't working. I went out to check and noticed that the cord had completely snapped (we think it might have been rabbits etc). ATTENTION, the cable used for the lighting is NOT equivalent to an internal extension! This means it is definitely NOT SUITABLE FOR OUTDOOR USE, especially in Ohio winters. However, I soldered fairly well and was able to re-solder the wires. It worked for another two weeks. Then we realized it wasn't working again. Went back out and noticed it had ripped again! How can someone spend $130 on an "outdoor" palm tree and the cords won't last three weeks outside? If you buy this tree and want it to stay outside, buy OUTSIDE extensions and use fluorescent lighting. Place them where the CHEAPEST QUALITY LAMPS are on that piece of junk. Very disappointed I bought this $130 Chinese made product that probably cost $40.
