This camera only worked once halfway through my Maui vacation. I took some great photos and videos in the water but suddenly stopped turning on after taking a few shots in the water. I did notice a few drops of water seeping in even though it was properly sealed. I also have to admit that the sea was pretty rough that day. Anyway I waited and hoped that after drying it would work. Then the LCD screen turns on and off continuously. The menu as a whole is very intuitive, but there are so many settings to make before you can actually take a picture. For example, the background of an image with a flash will remain dark unless you find the right setting. I had to take 10 shots before I found the right setting. Sent the camera to Olympus for repairs a few weeks ago. So far I have never received a reply from them and have not returned my camera. I was told the 8020 would be better as it is better sealed. I will try this camera next time.
