Great shots and I can't break them

I bought these because my wife and daughter bought them when their previous cameras broke. My previous Canon camera had sand in it and got stuck. These cameras are more expensive to repair than to buy a new one. So far, our Tough cameras have continued to work even after heavy use. It's easy to use (logical menus really help), takes great pictures, and best of all, it's armored. There are no protruding parts for sand to get in through, and when not in use it protects the lens with a cap. i…

Great camera! good for point and shoot digital cameras

the best I've ever had. Yes, it's not a DSLR and the images may not be as crystal clear as a DSLR, but it goes where no DSLR can go. Hiking, kayaking, fishing, swimming, camping, this camera has suffered defeat after defeat and still continues to take great pictures. . everyone was so impressed with the camera and its ability to be taken anywhere. If you love nature and want to capture what you see in civilization, you will love this camera. If going outside is a backyard where your camera can…

Great price

I've only had this camera for a few days but it's great! I bought it to replace my big clunky camera and also my camcorder. This does the job of my previous two cameras and also adds underwater options while taking up a quarter of the space. The only thing I would change is the delay before taking a video or photo. Otherwise it's fantastic! If you follow the instructions, it is easy to use, no leakage possible. If you open it when it is wet or if you have wet hands, you have to expect problems.

Leaking water in Point & Shoot digital cameras

This camera only worked once halfway through my Maui vacation. I took some great photos and videos in the water but suddenly stopped turning on after taking a few shots in the water. I did notice a few drops of water seeping in even though it was properly sealed. I also have to admit that the sea was pretty rough that day. Anyway I waited and hoped that after drying it would work. Then the LCD screen turns on and off continuously. The menu as a whole is very intuitive, but there are so many…

A worthy successor to the 3000 series

This camera is ideal for those looking for a compact camera that doesn't have to worry about it breaking. An improvement on the stylus-rugged 3000 series in a great way that solves many of the issues the 3000 series had. I loved my 3000: despite its flaws, it's always been great to have a super-portable and rugged camera wherever I go also went . Quick Menu: The 3000 had a very slow menu system that was very laggy, this has been fixed and this camera runs at modern speeds2. Lens protection: The

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Definitely bad product

Although this camera is larger than a point and shoot camera, its robust features allow you to capture images you wouldn't otherwise take if you Your normal camera would leave home camera. The price seems to be driven by the high specifications compared to the quality of the photos and videos. I bought this camera for a trip to the Caribbean. He took acceptable photos in the pool and on a few snorkeling trips. I've since used it on hikes when rain is expected and I'm approaching waterfalls. On…
