Moving to a new 'old' house and some doors could not be left open. I ordered this magnetic doorstop and it turned out to be a great solution. Easy to install, strong magnet and beautiful appearance; photos included. I made a small modification and wanted to share it with all potential buyers and those who already have this stopper. I didn't like the sound two parts make when the door is opened due to a strong magnet. So I prepared a small pad of the adhesive material that came in the kit and glued it to the receiver end. Now that both sections are blocked off there is no noise, which is especially useful when sleeping in the bedroom. See second photo. Hope this review helps everyone!
