The Mic is the Best

I like the microphone. I had to get phantom power for this as I figured my radio would provide it. Once I had good phantom power, I was able to plug in the mic. The comments are that the audio quality on the other end is good. I use this with a Heil cord and a foot pedal to use the radio hands-free. I am very happy with the microphone. The shock absorber works well. I didn't install a pop screen, but a wind screen. It seems to work. If I were recording music or a podcast I would most likely use a pop filter. I don't really like the bar. It seems to have strong springs. I can't get it to stay where I want it even when I tighten the knobs. I don't use it as I found it better. Also, the base needs to be such that it can be screwed or screwed directly onto the surface as the clamp mechanism is quite large and doesn't fit where I need it. It seems well built. It will probably work just fine for someone with a different setup. I had to order a microphone without a boom, but
