I have the second and last of these belts and I have more money than I originally wanted to spend. The first one worked fine at first, then pairing with the watch started to fail. I searched YouTube for instructional videos on technique and proper care. Still followed these inconsistently, often wasting time and frustration before heading out for a walk or workout. Just completely unnecessary. It died quickly after my wife saw it on the dryer and decided it needed a wash, belt and sensor down. Water has entered the sensor. I bought another one hoping the first one was defective. I found myself in the same situation with another $80 down the drain. So angry. And to make matters worse, the first drowned not only because of the washing machine, since after a long summer ride or training the new one can no longer hold up. I had to replace this battery twice due to corrosion.
