Review on REALTREE Team Season Socks - 2 Pairs by Chris Crawford

Very warm and comfortable socks. I just spent 3 years in Hawaii and moved to Maryland in early January. Obviously this is a slight climate change. In preparation for a return to a state where there are seasons, I ordered these to be worn as my Ariat feared my feet would take some time to adjust to their first winter in three years. These socks were great! They fit around the foot as expected and have a slight compression around the bridge and arch. The only thing stopping me from giving 5 stars is that I wish they were a little higher on the calves. They are advertised as "calf length". I'm an average height guy, 5ft 11in tall. They don't fit my calf. They end about an inch below the knee at the largest part of the calf muscle. With hiking boots this is not a big problem. or a work boot. In western boots you need a sock that goes over the calf so that the shaft of the boot does not rub against the bare skin. I put them back on about once an hour if I walk a lot. Despite this minor annoyance, they keep my feet warm and comfortable. Unless you wear western style boots, this should be a 5 star product for you.
