It works. suffered from recurrent demodex. I've tried using Cliradex pads which certainly work but they burn so bad it's difficult to stay consistent. I switched to this brand of tea tree soap to wash my face at night and then use this oil on Qtips to gently stroke along the lash line to remove any residual makeup from my eyes. After two weeks I noticed that my eyelashes had grown back (they fell out in a few places because Demodex put a buffet on my eyelash follicles every night). I've also noticed that my lashes have gotten stronger, so the oil should be nourishing too. I thought it would be counterintuitive to use oil against demodex because they feed on excess oil, but they can't stand tea tree oil! And it's a softer version so my eyes don't sting. For good measure and maintenance I use this every night to remove eye makeup after washing my face and then use Cliradex foam which is much softer than their pads.
