The brackets are great. Sturdy, polished and attractive enough to stand out without being an eyesore. The screws are worthless. The head of the first screw popped out, and I attributed this to overtorqueing the drill and the lack of a pilot hole. no The four heads in the picture popped up for me with a screwdriver AND after drilling a pilot hole. Now I have a chair that I can't fix because the screws broke in the only place I can attach the bracket. And that doesn't include half-torn screws. Like I said the mounts are great, a bit rough around the edge but not too bad but don't expect to use screws for anything.
