First, in the short time I've spent, the unit's pump is quiet and works well. Turning off the high pressure should come in handy. My three star rating is based on my experience of fitting 1/2" adapters to the end of a hose on a 1/2" pump inlet and outlet. It was almost impossible to thread brass fittings. It took way too long and it wasn't easy to avoid stripping the plastic inlets and outlets. I have many years of experience with compressed gas, vacuum and plumbing and am competent for these tasks. It should be a simple problem, not an hour plus ordeal. My rating might improve with use, but I'm being naughty with my pump work tonight.
