I had a spare 500GB NVME drive and didn't know what to do with it. I saw this and thought - why don't I make a big portable flash drive? So far I have tested with two different PCs. My main system has a USB-C port and I put some large files in there. Took me less than 2 minutes. The same transfer using a USB-A cable took almost twice as long. I had an error where the first transfer stopped, but I'm pretty sure it was a cheap unnamed NVME drive I installed. After restarting the transfer everything worked. I then connected it to an old laptop that only has USB3 with the cable that came with it. It easily saturates USB3 speeds. The drive installation went pretty well. All in all, I would recommend this enclosure to anyone looking for an inexpensive way to turn their NVME drive into a portable storage device.
