Definetly protects but not as thin as would seem
Definitely protects the phone well and is a thick plastic with not much bend. It is not as thin as products like peel and other featherweights types. The plastic got pretty scratched up after a few months of going in and out of jean pockets i guess. If you're looking for something more protective than the flimsy featherwights but not an otterbox bulk this is a good case.
