I got this for the same reason you are going to replace the *&^% piece of porch that came with the trailer. You know the story, the first time you turn it on everything is fine, then twice only half works, then suddenly only a quarter. And even if ALL the LEDs were on when it was new, that was a poor excuse for the light - no diffraction in the lens means a weird "light quality", and when you look at it, it leaves a laser like post-image on your retina. Sigh. But not THIS LIGHT. It's the real deal - easy to install, and the results? WOW, this is the porch light you need in the wild! While not perfect, the diffuser is a HUGE improvement in light diffusion and allows you to look in the direction of the light without blinding yourself. The light distribution is even and bright, and with the canopy open it feels like daylight where you want daylight. Consider me a VERY happy customer.
