This is a very light 23.8 inch flat screen. Two-thirds of the screen is about 0.25 inches wide. The bottom section expands to about 1.75 inches. There are two ways to connect this monitor: HDMI or VGA. There is no USB connection. I'm not sure who uses VGA anymore, but it's good to have if you need to connect to an older system. There are built-in speakers, or you can connect external speakers to the audio output. I like the versatility of using both internal and external speakers, which allows the monitor to be used with a variety of devices. The built-in speakers sound a bit tinny when the volume is high in a large room. But they worked great for my computer in my small workspace. The sound is better when using external speakers in places like the living room or bedroom. The manual for this monitor is quite detailed. It shows: precautions, packing list, connection methods, a description of what each control button does, how to install the stand, how to adjust settings, product specifications, and a troubleshooting section. The manual also includes an email address where you can contact the manufacturer for any information or questions. Attached is a warranty card stating that there is a 30-day replacement guarantee. The instructions also state that the monitor comes with a 12-month warranty. The stand is easy to attach. I wasn't sure if it was strong enough to hold the screen and keep it from shaking. But although the legs and stand are very thin, they held the screen well enough. I appreciated the included screwdriver to install the stand. There are a couple of holes on the back of the screen if you want to use a bracket to mount it on the wall. I use this monitor with my computer to do my regular work, play games and watch movies, every time using HDMI cable. The 100Hz refresh rate is great for gaming. My work computer lowered the refresh rate to 60Hz, which was good enough for watching movies or doing other normal work. When I first turned on this monitor, the image on it was faint. I had to go into the settings and crank it up a bit so I could see everything. The buttons for changing the settings are located at the bottom of the screen on the right. When you press the buttons you have to hold the top edge of the screen because the screen is so light that it lifts when you press the buttons. I think it would be better if this monitor came with a remote control so it is easier and faster to change the settings. Otherwise, I found the colors on this monitor to be accurate. The picture is very clear and concise. There was no lag in the picture. This is a decent monitor well worth the price. I think this will work fine for most people.
