This is a beautifully made sweater for boys. The blue-grey stripe is a royal blue and mid-grey color (it looks a bit darker online than it actually is). The material is somewhat dense and very comfortable 100% cotton. Boys 7-8 are about 18.5 inches tall from top to bottom.

My nephew goes to a private school, the dress code is classic, nothing flashy and bright colors. This is a great fit for him and he can wear it over a collared white shirt for a very classic look. Really nice sweater, seems light enough not to sweat in class!

I love the colors of this sweater. As usual for "Kid Nation" clothing, it is well made, made of comfortable material and true to size both overall and in the sleeves. I like that it's gender neutral. It is suitable for all children without exception. What I love most about this amazing line of baby sweaters for kids is that they are machine washable. I have several big brand sweaters and was shocked to find that I was expected to wash something fancy. I don't know about your house, but in my house the children don't put their clothes in the basket in some fancy way.
