This serum is excellent for scalp massage and also for hot oil hair treatment. I used a thermal cap to allow the product to penetrate as deeply into the hair shaft as possible. It worked great and made my dry, damaged hair soft and healthy again. However, it does not work as well as regular serum. I can't seem to apply the right amount to keep my hair from looking greasy and messy. I have light brown hair, maybe that's why. Maybe it's because the oil is golden in color. It just doesn't make my hair very pretty. Smells good. It's a great hot oil conditioner, but that's about it. I hope this is helpful.
