This review is after a few hours of using the keyboard so who knows what will come in the future but: I've mostly used membrane keyboards my life and recently decided it was time to switch to a mechanical keyboard. I've tried several different keyboards but really hated the overall profile - large keys and not flat profiles that are often concave, meaning large gaps between each row of keys and having to raise my hands higher than I'm used to typing in order. I tried cherry brown and red; the latter were too easy for me, which captivated me while typing. I think the non-cherry blue switches strike a good balance here. I like the feel of typing and clicking on this keyboard. The sonic and tactile sensation that accompanies each keystroke is obvious, but not particularly loud. I'm not interested in RGB lighting; I bought the RGB version and not the monochrome version because it came with a full number pad. I've successfully set up an all-white lighting setup and a no-lighting setup that can be toggled on and off quickly. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that the advertised Windows key lock feature doesn't seem to work on my keyboard. In fact, locking the Windows key is really important to me in some games I play - I press the Windows key quite often, and in the past I've removed the Windows key entirely from membrane keyboards. if only there were keyboard software rather than built-in memory settings, simply because it's really a hassle to physically cycle through all the colors. The Havit website says a driver is under development, but no software was available for this keyboard at the time of this review. However, aside from the win-key issue, getting the colors the way I wanted was easy, if tedious. For the above reasons, I would personally give this keyboard a 4 out of 5. If it had software to simplify backlight settings and if the window lock function worked I would give it a 5/5.
