I love and hate this thing. It is ideal because it helps prevent bad posture or cramps. You no longer have to hold your Kindle and stretch out your arm or read your page. Ideal for not bending over while sitting! There are 3 slots for 3 different angles from 90 to 55 degrees down. Basically it's cool BUT you have to lie down to get the most out of it. You can use it while sitting on the floor, but it's only at an angle. This reduces head droop or droop, but only to the limit. And you have to stay still or the Kindle will fall out with every bump. You can't fidget or anything like that as there isn't much room to maneuver. I'm short and don't have a lot of wiggle room so it's generally great to use when lying perfectly still. Fine when seated, but best for your posture when lying down. A great thing, I can use it in the hot tub water because it's plastic coated metal! It also looks a bit whimsical, like a war of the worlds, but you can get used to it. All in all 5 stars because I LOVE to read for hours and this is the only way to do it without putting my neck and back at risk.
