Review on πŸ”’ LB-501 Precision Digital Kitchen Weight Scale, Food Measuring Scale, 500g x 0.01g (Black) by Jess White

Updated: A few quirks (remove lid ASAP)

Update: Lid doesn't let weight lay flat, I recommend removing it. This scale is not perfect, it tends to be inconsistent. Although it got better once I got used to its quirks: - Raises at least 0.02g, doesn't seem to realize 0.01g - Keys don't always register. - The scale may linger for a few seconds before finally bouncing off. Be patient and let the scale adjust when you know it should go up. Do not use the scale near AC power, avoid heavy breathing. It's tricky, the slightest airflow will make the numbers go astray lol. Wait for the scale to adjust. Backlighting the screen (with the blue button) can cause the scale to behave incorrectly. If you see the light dim or flicker, you may notice the numbers jumping up and down unpredictably. This does not necessarily have to be due to a weak battery - if the scale is not connected to the mains, it will switch off automatically (even with fresh batteries). This is a major disadvantage as the scale runs on batteries. In other words, when the scale is connected to the network, it will not turn on without batteries. And the scale will not work properly without a network connection. Kind of an oxymoron. VIEW: The 1st photo shows the lid is in a horizontal position. The 2nd photo shows the lid held. These scales can get the job done, but not without problems. YouTube reviewers have used this scale with much greater accuracy, so I'm not sure if there are any fakes out there. I would rate my experience 3 stars on my respective scale. I hope future customers have better luck. Thank you for reading.
