These are very handy angled bananas. They accept heavy gauge wire as well as a banana plug instead of wire. The fit for the latter is fairly tight with some plugs; On others, the prongs may need to be spread a little to get a tight fit. Note, however, that if you use larger wires (I used 10 gauge) or banana plugs, the set screws will protrude too far to allow the outer sleeve to be unscrewed. I threw away the sleeves and replaced them with shrink wrap, which also provides useful insulation (the sleeves are conductive). I am very happy with it.
