Works, but different from the original. The lever is farther from the handle. Reduced braking reaction time, harder to reach, loss of traction.

This stock brake lever bolts onto the Baja easily with no modifications required and it works. However, that is also a question. This brake lever protrudes further from the grip than the original, making it harder to grip and reducing brake apply time. I'm an adult and it's hard for me to take it in. For this reason, too, hand coordination is carried out. When you ride hard like me, you want the brake lever close to the handlebars so you can hold the handlebars tight and brake at the same time. This levet requires you to let go of the grip to grab the grip. This is not good for extreme driving. In addition, it will be very difficult for a child with small hands to grasp the lever. So if you have big hands and don't ride your bike hard, this lever will work just fine. If you have small hands or need good quick brake response time and hand coordination for rough riding conditions, I do not recommend this brake lever. I would choose OEM chrome for the extra money. Peace of mind and increased security are priceless. 2 out of 5 it gets the job done, but with caveats.
