My family often heats water on camping trips. Not only for tea, but also for dishes and our heating pads, which we put on the feet of our sleeping bags to keep them warm. Pouring water from a pot into the small opening of a heating pad is difficult to say the least, I bought this. I'm really impressed with how much water it holds in such a compact size. It's designed so I can pack it without being uncomfortable. Water doesn't boil any faster than my Ikea kettle, but for such a great design, it's worth it. The opening at the top is big enough for easy cleaning inside, which I like because I'm sure this thing would be great for making hot chocolate.
