This product is perfect for hand-rearing my canaries when their parents can't or won't. It just got a lot easier and cleaner! I used a regular medical syringe and it was difficult to control the flow rate. Have a little baby and a nest everywhere. This tool makes it reliable. And the syringe holds a large volume and retains feeding liquid for repeated feedings. The only problem was that there were no instructions with the kit and I have yet to figure out how to disassemble and use the various parts included. But I really didn't need them. And I clean by simply pumping water with the nozzle and draining.
