My 12 year old son had his first school dance. I bought this shirt to wear with jeans. The material was soft, not sure if it was flannel, but it didn't look flimsy and soft. It seems all these guys want to wear sweatpants, shorts and t-shirts everywhere, but I didn't allow my son to wear this to the dance (some of the guys actually did)! My son said the shirt was comfortable and he looked good in it. He is 5ft 4in 110lbs and we bought size 12-13 and it fits perfectly.
