The screw is shorter than the photo
I ordered this set because I have a bidet on the toilet and the current screw keeps loosening. They seemed much longer and stronger than the plastic nuts I was wearing. However, if I used rubber washers, the nut would not even thread onto the bolt. I had to lower both rubber washers, but once I did. The nuts lasted and seem very safe. It's been weeks and the toilet seat has never slipped off.
