Review on 🚲 AKASO Kids Bike Helmet: A Versatile and Adjustable Toddler Helmet for Safe Cycling, Skateboarding, and Scooter Riding (Ages 1-8) by Mike Malvo

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Excellent performance in terms of value for money / security at an affordable price.

This is a tough helmet with all the basic safety features of more expensive brands. It meets Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) standards as indicated on the label. As with most helmets, the inner pads are removable for easy cleaning. The chin strap is finished with a quick release buckle. The dial on the back feels smooth when adjusted, but delivers positive clicks when turned clockwise to tighten. I have a hyperactive six year old boy and the fit seems decent as it is able to keep him in place when riding a scooter. The item comes with a well-written manual with instructions and precautions. Be sure to read it before use. I also found useful information on this site: https://www.twowheelingtots.com/kids-bike-helmet-sizes-manual/. You can also benefit from extended warranties and discounts when you register your product. I wish this helmet had more color options, unfortunately it only comes in three colors. The fit system feels flimsy, but we'll see how it holds up for my little pal. Overall I think this is a good buy for the price and quality.

Pros
  • Premium protection. This kids' helmet offers comfort and impact resistance with a reinforced ABS shell and a thicker, shock-absorbing EPS core. Conforms to the US CPSC safety standard for bicycle helmets for persons 1 year and older.
Cons
  • Some bugs
