To monitor our patients vital signs and check our own temperature, we just bought this thermometer after trying 2 other options in our practice. Initially we relied on a digital oral thermometer with separate plastic caps, which works well but is bulky and takes a relatively long time to display the numbers. We felt we could do better with 'social' and medical distancing and bought a 'pistol' infrared thermometer. This one looked great, it took a while to decipher the instructions for toggling between Celsius and Fahrenheit, but it worked well enough. It seemed designed for quantity rather than quality. This latest thermometer is stylish, easy to set up, easy to use, reads temperature quickly and looks very durable. We look forward to using this for many years to come, Covid and beyond!
