I was looking at a few other scissors from this brand that I really like and admire. Unfortunately I don't like this couple. These are small scissors with blades long enough to cut through fabric, but the blades aren't really sharp or aligned enough for this purpose. I was trying to cut an old washcloth and with some effort I was able to make a cut with the middle part of the blade, but I couldn't make a cut at all with the tip of the scissors. They also make a slight grinding noise when opening and feel looser/not so tight. The handles are small but not uncomfortable. My hands are small, but they are round and smooth and scissors are comfortable to hold. Unlike other scissors from this brand, the design of the handle looks cheap. It is pressed very flat into the metal and does not flip on the sides. It has a beautiful two tone metallic effect with gold handles and silver for the blades. But I am absolutely certain you would be happier with another pair from this brand - the craftsmanship here just isn't up to par.
