Review on Discontinued Sony Bloggie Camera: Capturing Moments with Precision - Camera & Photo by Kirk Womack

Okay, first let me say that I've seen a lot of small cameras under $200 that claim HD 1080p video quality and they all don't do that resolution very well. Unless you're in bright sunshine and holding the camera still or using a tripod, don't expect quality 1080p video if you're buying a camera at this lower price point. It just won't happen. or SONY This camera is perfect for its ergonomics and ease of use. You don't need a manual for anything, it even comes with its own internal storage so you don't need to buy an SDHC card. Easy to shoot, great quality. Recording video is easy too, but you'll need to hold the camera to one side to get the full 16:9 aspect ratio when watching on a TV or downloading to a computer. I've seen people rip off SONY for this feature, but let me just say get over it. There's nothing wrong with holding the camera sideways and recording videos. If you didn't like that aspect of the camera, then why did you buy it? I don't find it that bad to use. The menu system is a breeze and has a good sense of quality. I also have a Kodak Playsport and I love the camera too, but the quality of this camera seems to be a cut above. The size of the camera makes it look like a phone, very cool I think. I've resigned myself to sticking with the 720p resolution. I still think she looks just as good. I will definitely recommend this camera to my friends. I won't comment on poor lighting, but what is a camera? Image quality is excellent and I keep coming back to this camera to use in place of several other handheld devices I have. Kodak Zx3 is another camera I have and I think it's good too. The quality of the video I received on a golf holiday weekend was excellent. Update 04/17/2012 Upgrade to 5 stars. The only complaint about this camera is the lazy autofocus but I updated the firmware to 1.05 and it works better. I liked this camera so much that I bought another one.
