Review on ThinkMax Kids Microphone Toy with Voice Changing, Recording & Colorful Light - Musical Toys (Green) by David Robinson

Arrived in working condition but after a total of about 2 hours of use the speaker suddenly stopped working. The microphone has never been dropped or exposed to liquids. Only once did my 3 year old turn it on and at first all one could hear was an awful static/crackling noise. Then all was quiet, but the flashing light above still worked, so I knew the problem wasn't that the entire unit had lost power. However, I tried changing the batteries but it didn't help. The microphone part is connected to the speaker, so it's useless without it. Wouldn't recommend it.
