Arrived in working condition but after a total of about 2 hours of use the speaker suddenly stopped working. The microphone has never been dropped or exposed to liquids. Only once did my 3 year old turn it on and at first all one could hear was an awful static/crackling noise. Then all was quiet, but the flashing light above still worked, so I knew the problem wasn't that the entire unit had lost power. However, I tried changing the batteries but it didn't help. I was a little surprised at the minimum age for this ThinkMax Voice Modifier mic for kids with colorful lighting as I really don't think a 12 month old could get it right. .
