This is a fun little microphone that can entertain your child. My 1.5 year old daughter loves it. I played with her several times and I liked it. It's not a solid build, but it's as cheap as you'd expect. There are 3 voice options: dad (low voice), mom (high voice) and baby (creepy little high voice ha). There are 7 preloaded songs (no lyrics) that play short clips and a light that flashes along with the music (though not in time). 2 volume settings, low and high. This microphone has a recording option. Press and hold the microphone button until you hear a beep, then press it again to stop recording. You can only record 20 seconds at a time (I recorded other music). The only thing I don't like is that the speaker is at the bottom so the sound can be muted while standing. All in all a fun little microphone toy to keep them occupied and get them talking and singing. Update 4/8/21 Toddlers can be rough on toys, so you need toys that can last. Well, after that mic chatted a bit, the speech mechanism broke down. You can no longer speak into it and play back what you have recorded. Neither mom nor dad nor the child's voice works. Now it's basically useless.
