Review on Kegconnection Kegerator Beer Line Cleaning by Amy Anderson

This is my first experience with a cleaning kit. I liked the video on how to use it and it looked very easy. However, my experience was far from the same as in the video. The instructions that came with the kit seem outdated and a bit confusing. The instructions mention that you have to put a cap on the plastic bottle to mix the solution, but there is no cap. I assumed that meant the hose it came with. The instructions say to pour the cleaning solution from a bucket into a bottle, but before that you just mixed it in a bottle according to the instructions. When pouring the solution, it turned out that there was a big mess. The solution leaked everywhere. So much so that I thought my kit was missing spacers or something. Walked out of the bottle and up the tower. As mentioned by another reviewer, the grout came out of the holes used for the wrench. Since the threads are plastic, I was afraid of spoiling them by pulling. After this mess, I found it very difficult to disconnect the hose. Now it's wet and slippery with grout and hard to grip. I got creative and was able to get it back. The ball tool was useless on my Kegco faucets. Used or not, it didn't matter. As for the price of the kit, honestly I felt a bit left out after seeing and using it. I already have this tool and could probably buy other items at home storage for less. (minus solution). I probably wouldn't recommend this kit, not that it didn't work, it just wasn't as easy and complicated as the video shows and it seems like it's a bit overpriced for what you get.
