I love these spoons.1. They *almost* always keep our little one from throwing up (sometimes he finds a way, but it's way better than a regular spoon).2. Our 8 month old can maneuver very well due to the short and thick arms.3. They appear to be of excellent quality. We've had other silicone baby spoons where the plastic peeked through the silicone in places and became a great place to chew, causing the silicone to crack and then turn into junk because they got so rough under the silicone . These spoons have no inner plastic that can easily break the silicone.4. If your child drops a spoon on the floor 500 times per meal, the actual part of the spoon doesn't touch the floor 499 times because the neck is holding it. And the handle seems to make it heavier so the spoon is always pointing up. It's like a cat with baby spoons. It always seems to land correctly no matter how it's dropped. Seriously, don't use any other baby spoons, just use these. My only regret is that I didn't know when I had my first child.
