I purposely bought a dress one size larger than my very tall but petite 7 year old girl because her school requires a skirt length. However, this size 140 dress comes to her knee (she is about 49 inches) so we can only use it as a dress at school for a few months, although I expect the body to be plus size. and the shape will suit her for years when worn with a tunic and trousers. The body is quite roomy and the sleeves are airy, which I wasn't expecting. It's quite adorable and I love the warm material of the sweatshirt. She loves the pattern and goes with many colorful tights and leggings for winter. This dress is more tailored for a medium to round girl. This also happened a few weeks earlier than the earliest possible date, which was nice. Good service, no nasty smell from the packaging and 100% cotton (so may shrink if not cared for properly).
