Review on 🚽 Bathroom Tempered Glass Shelf - Wall Mounted 16.5 Inch, Brushed Nickel Finish, Rustproof SUS304 Stainless Steel, Frosted Glass - by HOMEIDEAS by Maalik Harris

Revainrating 4 out of 5

High quality glass shelf, looks beautiful. Helps to organize and remove things from the dressing table and keeps it looking tidy.

High quality glass shelf. I ordered two for the master bathroom with two 60" vanities. I'm ordering two more so we can have two on each sink. This will significantly reduce clutter on the sink surface and make cleaning easier. As a result, things look more organized. The shelves were quick and relatively easy to assemble with no missing parts, however one of the four brackets holding the glass shelf had extra material where the shelf fitted. ensure the shelf slides smoothly. They look good and the included hardware seems to hold everything in place fairly solidly. Bits (wall anchors) - Straight blade hand screwdrivers (screws that hold the glass in place) DO NOT attempt to use a cordless drill or electric screwdriver here! to align the shelves) - tap me with some tape - pencil - electronic stud finder - Allen wrench (included with shelves) - four 3/16" toggle switches (sold separately) - typical hammer with claws. Includes plastic drywall anchors, probably perfect for the weight these shelves will see, and typical 1/2" drywall. I opted for four 3/16" toggle screws weighing 70 pounds each, which was probably overkill. For the ones I had to use a 3/8" bit using the included plastic wall anchors, the 3/16" bit should be sufficient for drilling the pilot holes and you will need a hammer to drive in the plastic anchor bolts .Most of the installation time a day is spent gathering tools, deciding where I want to place the shelves and measuring. The actual installation would take less than 10 minutes each time I didn't need the file in any of the brackets It took about 30 minutes (and some swearing) to shave the bracket off just enough to fit the glass shelf in. But I chose to do it rather than return the shelf and order a replacement, so I'm giving one star for those lack of quality control in the manufacturing process My advice (which I should have followed) is to check everything for fitment before drilling holes to mount the halteru to assemble. That way you don't have holes in your wall if you end up with poorly fitting parts while waiting a week for a replacement.

Pros
  • Don't waste too much time
Cons
