Installation was easy and smooth. I was very pleased that the bottom part of the panel fits just under the edge of the door weatherstrip. Offers a nice integrated look and ensures it doesn't move. The carbon fiber looks sharp and matches the rear spoiler if you have a performance model. I have two large dogs that already left a few scuffs on the rear door sills before I installed those skid plates with my paws while climbing in the back seat (you can see some of the dog hair in my photos). I always try to adjust them before the claws make contact so I was curious to see how scratch resistant these new carbon fiber treads would be. I'm happy to report that the dogs climbed over them and left no tracks. In addition, the dirt that got on it is very easy to remove. Very happy with the extra protection they offer and how great they look. Absolutely worth the money.
