I like these. I first saw them on a friend's and thought it was a great idea (especially if you live far away from your child's grandparents and other relatives, or if you have a partner who needs to be away from home often) . I printed out pictures of the people I want my child to recognize, matched them to the size of the blocks, pasted them in, and gave the blocks to my child and he loves to play with them. The pictures don't come out easily unless you have a strip at the top for your child to grab and pull, but the pictures inserted easily.
