Review on Enhance Stability with Portland Design Works Power Stance Bicycle Kickstand - 40mm Rear Bolt-on, Black by David Carmody

The side stand on my Electric XP2 broke in the first week (plastic inserts). I was looking for a replacement and found this one and it works great. I went with the $40 black version (because the bike was black), but the silver version is cheaper at $35. It is adjustable and the bike can stand more upright than the original which is fully extended. It's a 40mm hole spacing, not 18mm, and it's a direct mount stand. The only issue I had is that it makes a springy noise when moving up and down (maybe lube/oil can fix that). It's pre-machined, so I mounted it behind the bracket and screwed in the supplied screws (pre-threaded with Loctite) from the front. All in all, this is a great update.
