They are very soft and pleasant to the touch. I love the design on the inside which makes them even more comfortable! We've had other models with buttons on the side. Not suitable for side sleepers! Having buttons on the front makes a big difference! They're so easy to pair with Bluetooth on Android and iPhone, even our iPads. It features USB-C for charging and tucks into a small pocket on one side. The battery life is about 2 full nights. Maybe a little longer before a charge is required. It also comes with a USB charging cable. The speakers are round, flat circles, maybe a little larger than a quarter. The sound quality is clear, no hissing like some! Not the ones that are very loud as they are a sleep mask, but just enough noise to hear everything you hear so you can hear a little other noise around you. That's why I gave the noise cancellation 4 stars. The speakers can move a bit, so finding the right spot will pick up more sound. If it were possible I would give 4.5 stars. One of my 7 year old granddaughters found this. she could adopt her! Her twin sister loves a little light when she goes to bed. She loves the dark and found these beautiful sleep headphones and white noise helps her fall asleep. It happened with my and her favorite flowers. I'll have to buy another pair. or two!
