Purchased these place mats for my 16 month old. He absolutely loves them! He is currently obsessed with animals and these are great! We use it for him to learn about different animals and sounds by pointing the animals out and asking him to make the sound the animal makes. It keeps him very entertained during dinner. Moreover, the are really non slip, and do what they advertise. I would recommend these mata for anyone looking for high quality, durable, non slip mats for your toddler.

Ordered these in hopes they would stay put on our table. However, I returned the second pack I ordered because they easily are moved and shifted by our kiddo.

These placements made mealtime fun for my 2-year-old grandson, encouraging him to zoom the bites of food into his mouth like one of the vehicles shown in the pictures. Having the variety of four different themes was great and kept meals interesting for him. The placemats were large enough and durable enough to protect my nice mahogany dining table from toddler mealtime wear and tear. Highly recommend.

I used to use paper towels under my grandchildren’s dishes at mealtime, but these are fun, easy to clean, and they save the surface of my table. They are larger than I imagined which is good.

Our 2-year-old grandsons love these placemats. You can see the quality of the images on the listing. What you can see is the nonskid backing and the durability. We have washed these quite a few times, and they still look as good as new.

Our three boys (3 year old and 2 year old twins) LOVE these place mats! They are bright and fun. They don't stick to the table but we weren't looking for ones that do. It's also really nice they come in a pack of four because our boys end up trading and using a different one at each meal. Exactly what we were looking for.

My grandchildren love these. The pictures are clear and colorful and a good way for children to learn animal names and discuss them. And best of all they are easy to clean and don't need to be replaced like some I have purchased.

Unrealistic photos were sent instead of the realistic ones pictured. Looks like I’m not the only one. Please be more careful. 3 stars because I’ve ordered from this brand before and didn’t have an issue the first time.

We love these placemats! I bought these for my 3 year old who is obsessed with anything that moves. He loves them and talks about the different vehicles. He will even take the placemat with him when he gets up from the table!The placemats are flexible without being too thin. Colors are great and the text is very easy to read. They stick to the table well and clean up is easy. We will be ordering more placemats from merka.

We really enjoy the pictures to help our kids learn their animals. We like the pictures with the spelling of the animal name beside them!

My toddler loves these. He points and talks about them all the time. Lots of fun. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because they don’t stay in place very well, but what does really with a two year old?!

Cute and my almost 3 yr old son loves the animals. They don't slide as much as the regular placemats, but my son can still move it around and throw it on the floor. I guess suction cups are the only way to achieve my dream.

I like that my son can learn while he eats. This is my second set of place mats from this company. I like that they cater to different ages and educational levels. These place mats can also be used as posters. I wish though they had the time tables available too; with a light background and in the form of .2X1, 2X2, 2X3 and so on

I haven’t had them long but I actually bought them to use as posters in my Toddler classroom and the kids love them. I know they will hold up to them touching them!

Great learning tool as our 2 year old eats. They stay put and do not slip away from her if she leans on them. Easy to clean. May not be effective in enhancing children's overall education.

Great Learning mats-we use for homeschool with my preschooler. For the person who claimed that the company used an upside down "Q” for the "O’s”-I think it’s just the font that the company chose for the letters, not that they were being lazy or sloppy. We really like these and my 3.5 year old enjoys looking at them and asking questions about the topics.

These placemats have been the talk at our table for months. Our kids talk about what’s on them almost every meal & use them to teach our younger kids. They are plenty big & are ah-mazingly nonslip. They are also easy to hand wash too. I highly recommend!
